Be The Machine @2018
The X-Games in Aspen is the setting for the winter showcase for Jeep each year. A true takeover of the courses, activity centers, and the streets, this experiential activation invites people to partake in the Jeep lifestyle. Free Jeep rides, a massive Jeep build-out on the mountain, and multiple touchpoints allow Jeep to own this event.

Be The Machine had the fortune of producing VentureFuel's "Innovation Brew" at SXSW. Taking over a loft space on Congress, the multi-day event featured new technologies relevant for marketers staged in a VIP tour format. Panels and happy hours packed the space, with a balcony overlooking the Austin scene acting as a beacon. The event was a connection point for marketers seeking insights into new developments and tech. BTM was thrilled to put our creative stamp on its creation and production.

As SEAL Team has become a ratings hit, CBS wanted to connect with the target audience in ways that went beyond basic advertising. An outreach program staged at festivals and fairs allowed CBS to both promote the show while also giving back to the troops. A special card-writing program let crowds make their own personal “thank you” cards to active military members, as CBS then partnered with a military charity to have the cards delivered overseas to the troops.

Seeking to engage fitness fanatics in new and unique spaces, Clif Bar turned to Be The Machine to develop a sampling and branding program in a developing scene. A custom network of indoor "ninja" training facilities was assembled, as this type of workout has grown red hot. Partnering with these new school venues, Clif seeded product for pre and post-workout sampling while also establishing an on-site presence relevant to the space. Forget the old, boring gym because people are now training to be ninjas!

Hitting SXSW means hitting it hard with a brand such as Brisk. A truck that converts into a fully mobile refrigerator complete with graffiti murals and cool characters, a local retailer promo with custom signage, and an influencer component showcasing the Mishka collaboration … the finer details go on and on. Austin, stay weird. And, yes, we love you so much.

A grassroots experiential program driven by a major surprise & delight component, "Pick Up The Tab" provides unsuspecting residents with freebies from top local hot spot partners. From the best seafood joint in Atlanta to a bike shop in Bloomington to a dessert joint in Nashville, Xfinity engages consumers by paying for their meal, tune-up and chocolate. Consumers are loving how Xfinity is connecting with them.

Some clients dare to be different. And then there is MailChimp. Who dare to crimp hair. Bringing the vision of MaleCrimp to life means to stare style in the eye and not blink. Miami, Los Angeles, Austin, models, hair, crimping, real.

This booming retailer aimed at the active, upscale female shopper wanted something that went far beyond conventional promotions. The "It's Your Time 6K" was created, a proprietary race experience that immersed women in the brand without being restricted by normal sponsorship limits. A beautiful setting, amazing on-site activities, and true celebration of women.

A unique collaboration between CBS and Stumptown Coffee resulted in the creation of Col' Brew: a custom bottled iced coffee intended for the influential media and some lucky consumers. People went nuts for this collab. Hardcore fans trade and buy these limited edition bottles for hundreds of dollars.

MailChimp "FailChips"- The mythical "FailChips" truly exists. And only MailChimp would dare make them. From bodegas in Los Angeles to bars in Austin to a meal delivery service in Atlanta, consumers by the hundreds of thousands found themselves with a bag of FailChips in their hands. Why? We can’t explain everything. #FailChips

How to give the people a courtroom experience in the middle of their day? How about taking over Union Square in New York City with a replica courtroom featuring a packed jury box. Lucky participants got to put on the robe to be a judge or sit in the witness stand as professional sketch artists captured the moment with a cool memento.

So much more than a food truck, so much tastier than any sampling program. Old Bay took to the road to bring its delicious flavor to the people, showcasing food and drinks made with special recipes through its kitchen. This beloved Maryland institution spread love up and down the East Coast. Old Bay fans are truly fanatics!
